Audi A3 sensor S3 8V OEM 02T906207D — function to be confirmed

Audi A3 sensor overview

This Audi A3 sensor is used, carries OEM reference 02T906207D, and requires confirmation of its exact function. The title identifies a gearbox speed or position sensor. However, the description also mentions a crankshaft position sensor. Therefore, do not treat these descriptions as equivalent without checking the application. The OEM reference provides an essential starting point for identifying the component needed for your repair. Clarify this discrepancy before selecting the part.

Audi A3 sensor compatibility

The listing names the Audi A3 and S3 with the 8V chassis designation. However, it does not specify an engine, year or gearbox variant. Therefore, send your VIN to confirm compatibility and the exact function before purchasing. First, check the code on the sensor installed in your vehicle. Also, compare that reference with the photographs of the listed component. If identification details differ, request clarification before ordering. The model designation alone cannot resolve the conflicting part descriptions in the source information.
