Mercedes actuator description
The component is the actuation motor for the parking brake caliper. However, the identification does not describe a complete brake caliper. First, establish which component requires replacement on your vehicle. This distinction helps separate the actuator from other parts of the braking assembly. Also, compare the installed component with the listing photographs before making your selection. Use the OEM number to support that identification.
Mercedes actuator compatibility
The supplied application covers Mercedes W176 and W246 chassis in the rear left position. Therefore, send the VIN to confirm compatibility before ordering. Check the mounting side and the reference on your existing component. However, the listing does not identify engines or production years. Do not assume compatibility with other chassis or mounting positions. If your existing reference differs, request confirmation before proceeding with the purchase.
