Blower resistor BMW E70 overview

The module controls ventilation speed and serves as a replacement component for a compatible repair. However, confirm the cause of the fault before choosing the part. A ventilation symptom alone does not identify which component requires replacement.

The photographs show the actual item offered for sale. Therefore, use them to compare visible details with your original module. Also, use the reference on the existing component as the starting point for identification.

Compatibility and confirmation

The listed chassis are BMW E70, E81, E84, E87 and E90 LCI. Send the VIN to confirm compatibility with your vehicle before ordering. Also, include the number found on the module you intend to replace.

First, compare the OEM reference with your original component details. Then review the replacement numbers below. However, do not treat the chassis list alone as confirmation for every vehicle configuration. Matching the available identification details helps avoid choosing a component based only on appearance.
